EMDR Intensive
EMDR stands for Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. It is an evidence-based approach to trauma counseling that was created in the 1980s. It has been used for everything from military trauma and sexual assault to loss of loved ones or car crashes. Some of the benefits to EMDR is it can be effective in a shorter amount of time, you do not need to describe the events, and some studies show a 90% reduction in symptoms in as little as three sessions.
